ABC News features DESS Laurel Hill Wind site in its “Climate Crisis: Saving Tomorrow” coverage series

On Nov. 1, Good Morning America’s chief meteorologist, Ginger Zee, broadcast from atop Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions’ 69-megawatt Laurel Hill Wind site in Pennsylvania.

Laurel Hill Wind was featured as part of ABC News’ monthlong “Climate Crisis: Saving Tomorrow” coverage series, which takes an in-depth look at the climate change crisis as well as the necessary steps to avoid further consequences. Consisting of 30 wind turbines, Laurel Hill Wind supplies clean, renewable energy to Delaware Municipal Electric Corporation – and generates enough electricity to power the equivalent of 20,000 homes.
